Shore Orthopedic & Athletic Rehabilitation (S.O.A.R. Physical Therapy) was established in 1988 to fulfill a need for specialized orthopedic rehabilitation to the residents of Southern Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties, NJ.
Our goal is to return our patients to their normal activities as quickly as possible, at work and at home, fully functional and pain-free. We emphasize patient education to prevent a recurrence of your problem and to avoid associated disorders to which you may be susceptible.
When disease or accident prevents a full recovery, we teach you the skills needed to manage limitations while maximizing your function.
Enhancing the quality of life for people in our community by optimizing physical movement.
We educate and empower individuals with ethical, one-on-one care in private treatment rooms. We use up-to-date exercise research, the latest hands-on techniques, and the most recent technological advances.
We provide physical therapy and acupuncture to examine, assess, design, and implement individualized treatment plans targeting pain and movement dysfunction.
Meet the Staff
Dr. Caroline Kiley graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science in 2021 with her Doctorate of Acupuncture, and previously, her Master’s of Science in Acupuncture in 2019 from Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine. She attended the University of the Sciences where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences. She is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and tri-state licensed (NJ, NY, PA).
Dr. Kiley has joined the SOAR Physical Therapy and Acupuncture team to share with patients her passion for Traditional Medicine and assist them in their healing process by teaching them the intentions of the treatment and therefore achieving lasting results. She shares her patient philosophy, “I believe that when caring for a person there is no One-Size-Fits-All method. People are surprising and ever-changing in their development, both physically and emotionally. When one is given the opportunity to be part of someone’s life, treating him or her as an individual and unique case is of the highest importance. I intend to apply this ideology to Chinese Medicine – the truly individualized medicine.”
