Clinical Director, Physical TherapistMatt is a graduate from The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2016. Prior to graduate school, Matt attended Temple University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Political Science in 2012.
Matt enjoys treating a wide variety of patients and holds several certifications, including the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) which is a systematic approach to the treatment of the spine and extremities. He is also certified in LSVT BIG which is a specific for the treatment of people with Parkinson’s Disease. He also enjoys treating Temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD/TMJ), sports related injuries, post operative care, and general orthopedics.
Matt has also found a passion for the treatment of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) which is a genetic connective tissue disorder and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) as well as common comorbidities associated with both conditions which includes Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Dysautonomia. Matt thoroughly enjoys working with this complex patient population as they are often underrepresented in the medical field and have a difficult time finding care for their conditions. He finds great satisfaction in helping his patients to improve their quality of life to return to what they enjoy doing.
When Matt is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and staying busy with many hobbies including surfing, golfing, working on cars, playing guitar and DIY projects around the home.

Physical TherapistDr. Valerie Iovine Rogers graduated from Drexel University with high honors for both her Accelerated Health Sciences Bachelor of Science as well as her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She additionally is a graduate of Cornell University where she completed her certificate in Wellness Counseling.
Val is a dedicated and innovative physical therapist at Strive Physical Therapy, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing the care for individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD). With a passion for comprehensive, patient-centered care, Dr. Rogers is committed to improving the lives of those affected by these complex conditions. For her specialty practice in the niche field of hypermobility, she was awarded the Outstanding Healthcare Provider of the Year Award in 2022 from the International Ehlers-Danlos Society as well as PT of the Year here at Strive.
Valerie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, emerging as a researcher in the field of hypermobility and its comorbid conditions as well as training several interdisciplinary healthcare groups in her additional role of Hypermobility Program Director at Mount Sinai’s Center for Complex Chronic Illness. Through Icahn School of Medicine, Dr. Rogers is always eager to give more presentations and education to help the hypermobile conditions become a part of the typical healthcare system.
In addition to her clinical and educational efforts, Val volunteers for the Ehlers-Danlos Society, sharing her expertise and collaborating with other specialists to enhance patient care. She is always passionately learning and growing from those that she surrounds herself with.
Driven by a commitment to ongoing education, Valerie directs Strive’s clinical specialty program centered around hypermobility and autonomic disorders such as EDS and POTS as well as leads the hypermobility-centric wellness counseling program coming soon to Strive.
Valerie, a south Jersey girl, loves spending time on the beach with family friends, crafting and making others smile. Outside of work, will typically find Val on her Peloton or playing games with her friends and family!

Anthony Reid PT, DPT, LSVT BIG, AIB/VAM

Physical TherapistAnthony was born and raised in Columbus, NJ! He graduated in 2016 with his doctorate in physical therapy from Stockton University. Prior to physical therapy school, he graduated from Rowan University with his bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science and Northern Burlington Regional High School. He treats a variety of musculoskeletal issues with an emphasis on manual therapy and one on one care.
Throughout his outpatient career, Anthony has taken a variety of manual therapy courses and specializations. This includes being trained and certified in the Graston Technique, an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization for improving soft tissue injuries throughout the body. He specializes in vestibular and concussion treatment through training with the American Institute of Balance. Other areas of expertise include temporomandibular dysfunction (jaw), soft tissue injuries with instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizers, joint mobilizations, and muscle energy techniques. Other manual therapy courses he has taken include Maitland, Mulligan, Mckenzie, and the entire curriculum
of Evidence in Motion.
In his free time, Anthony is enjoying Marvel superhero films and exquisite Mexican and Italian cuisine with his wife. He is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan frequently attending sporting events. He can also be found taking monthly
trips to the Columbus Farmer’s Market for a tomato pie from Kate and Al’s.

Physical TherapistAlexa graduated from Arcadia University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in September 2024, and received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance from Rider University in 2020. Her passion for dancing led her to pursue physical therapy as a career, as she aspires to promote and advocate for performing arts medicine. Throughout her pre-professional career, she has participated in the administration of dance injury prevention workshops and plans to continue educating to promote longevity in all sports. Additionally, she is interested in learning different manual therapy techniques such as Graston and cupping.
In her spare time, Alexa likes to spend time with family and friends, listen to music, watch movies, and read. She also enjoys teaching, choreographing, and performing various styles of dance such as ballet, jazz, and contemporary.
