Director of Occupational Therapy ServicesJason Melnyk, OTR/L, MS, CEAS II has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since graduating with a Bachelor’s (2001) and Master’s degree (2002) in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. Jason is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist – Level II, having received these credentials from the Back School of Atlanta and is trained in administering Pre-Placement Post-Offer Assessments, Job Demand Analysis, and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).
His areas of clinical expertise are derived from multiple years in an academic healthcare center, acute care, and outpatient service delivery. Jason is licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has been a contributing faculty member to the Thomas Jefferson University Occupational Therapy Department.
Currently, he serves as the Director of Industrial Rehab Medicine and Lead Functional Capacity Evaluator at STRIVE Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation with over 30 locations within New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia area.

Occupational TherapistEric graduated from Thomas Jefferson University’s accelerated Occupational Therapy program with his BS in Occupational Health and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2020. During his graduate studies, he completed his clinical training in outpatient upper extremity at Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, where he had a focus on low-hear thermoplastic orthosis splinting. At Main Line Health – Riddle Hospital in Media PA, he furthered his experience in manual therapies including scar management and deep tissue massage. These experiences allow Eric to work with a diverse population and provide specific therapies to his patients.
Eric has enjoyed the variety of patients and diagnoses that outpatient orthopedics allows him to evaluate and treat. Eric is certified in CarFit Technician Training and THe Autism Services, Education, Resources, and Training Collaborative (ASERT). Currently, Eric is working towards becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. Eric has a diverse background in Occupational Therapy including hippotherapy and splinting for adults with neuromuscular disorders. His specialties and interests include custom splinting, industrial design, universal design, human factors and ergonomics, and holistic treatment.
Recreationally, Eric enjoys swimming, kayaking, and exercising with his dog. To unwind, he likes to read non-fiction, play the piano, antiquing, and going to the beach with his partner Anthony, family, and friends.
