Meet the Staff
Paul completed his undergraduate education from the University of Rochester with a degree in Political Science in 1993. After working at the National Sports Center for the Disabled in Winter Park, CO teaching people with disabilities how to ski, Paul decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy and completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital – Institute of Health Professions in 1999. Since then, Paul has worked in a variety of PT clinics including pediatric burn care, general inpatient and outpatient PT clinics, as well as sports focused PT practices. In addition to his clinical experience, Paul has worked in the business and development of a hospital based sports medicine program, designing sports performance programs, providing sports related injury prevention lectures and developing an athletic trainer service line for community based sports.
Paul is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and is a Functional Movement Screen – Level I Clinician. Paul is currently pursuing his certification in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy for the spine and extremities. Paul moved to South Jersey from Boston, MA with his wife and 3 children. Paul enjoys skiing with his family, running and cycling. He has completed 7 marathons and enjoys helping other runners achieve their goals.
Maria graduated from Salisbury University, MD with a marketing degree in 2008. During her time at Salisbury she played DIII field hockey and earned 2 National Championships. After graduation Maria worked for a few years in the marketing field. Maria chose to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after witnessing the advantages of physical therapy with her double amputee grandmother. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2018. During her time at Temple, Maria participated in outpatient orthopedics and inpatient rehabilitation clinical affiliations. Maria has developed interests in orthopedic conditions (especially shoulders), sports related injuries, and neurological conditions. Maria wishes to advance her expertise in spine-related conditions and she plans to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as certified in the McKenzie Method. She hopes to become an APTA credentialed clinical instructor for physical therapy students to help further advance future physical therapists’ careers. In her spare time, Maria enjoys hiking, cooking/baking, woodworking, spending time with family and friends and going to the beach.
Nicole completed her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of the Sciences in 2013. She went on to work at Bacharach Institute for Rehabilitation as a physical therapy aide, where she discovered her passion for the field. Nicole then pursued her degree in Physical Therapy at the University of the Sciences where she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017. Throughout her time in school, Nicole completed clinical affiliations in outpatient orthopedics and subacute rehabilitation, as well as in inpatient and outpatient pediatrics. Since graduating, Nicole has worked in a variety of settings, including sub-acute rehabilitation, aquatics, outpatient, and homecare services. Nicole believes her variety of experiences has helped her discover her love for outpatient orthopedics and sports related rehabilitation.
Nicole is certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotaping, myofascial cupping, and LSVT Big for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease.
She plans to continue developing her clinical skills by obtaining her hand therapy certification. Nicole is also a Certified Clinical Instructor through the APTA.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys golfing, running, cooking/baking, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
