BS Biology, Alvernia University, Reading, PA
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA
Dr. Joelle Winey, PT, DPT graduated from Alvernia University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she recieved a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lycoming College in 2018. While at Lycoming, she was a goalkeeper on the soccer team. Dr. Winey believes in providing her patients with evidence-based care and a well-rounded treatment plan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and being outdoors.
Dr. Kristin Kissling PT, DPT, OCS has 10+ years of clinical experience providing outpatient orthopedic services to the Berks, Lebanon, and Lancaster regions. Kristin has been with Western Berks Physical therapy since 2018 and currently services as Clinical Director of our Robesonia office. Dr. Kissling has a strong passion for all things orthopedic which drove her to enter a year long residency program leading to her becoming a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2015. She earned 2 bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University and Lebanon Valley College before obtaining her doctorate in physical therapy from Lebanon Valley College in 2013.
Dr. Kissling is a strong believer in the effectiveness of manual therapy and strives to provide the highest level of evidence based care to all of her patients. Dr. Kissling has experience in treating a multitude of injuries to all age groups including pre and post operative orthopedic injuries of all types, vestibular, sports, geriatrics, Balance/gait, and TMJ dysfunctions.

Nate Moyer, PTA comes to Western Berks Therapy with years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics as well as balance and gait training within a skilled nursing facility. Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Temple University, then continued on to Central Penn College where he earned an Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2015.
Nate is passionate about quality patient care and helping people improve their physical function. In his spare time, Nate enjoys sports and exercise. He coached high school boys’ soccer for four years.
Physical Therapy Assistant, Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, PA
Kimberly Haught, PTA has over 11 years experience working in outpatient settings. Kimberly is a Physical Therapist Assistant with an Associates of Applied Science who graduated with honors from Lehigh Carbon Community College. Kimberly’s experience in treatment includes a diverse variety of diagnoses including geriatrics, back and neck pain, hand injuries, sports related injuries, neurological disorders and pediatrics. Kimberly also assists in Western Berks Physical Therapy’s pelvic floor and women’s health programs.
Kimberly volunteers in the Kids Club and Youth Group programs at her church. In her spare time, Kim enjoys hiking, taking walks, snowboarding, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family and friends.
Physical Therapist Assistant, Pennsylvania State University, Hazelton, PA
Sierra Werley, PTA comes to Western Berks Physical Therapy with clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics as well as geriatric management in skilled nursing. Sierra graduated with honors from Penn State University and assists in Western Berks Physical Therapy’s pelvic floor and women’s health programs.
Sierra strives to provide individualized care to all patients by learning their physical needs and helping them reach their goals. In her spare time, Sierra enjoys hiking, gardening, yoga, and being with family and friends.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Alvernia University. He has much experience in both outpatient and hospital settings working with acutely injured patients. He believes in providing evidence based and individualized care for all patients.
He enjoys spending time with his fiancée, going on hikes, watching football, and working out at the gym.
