Meet the Staff
Justin Bernardo is the clinical director at the Washington Township location. He attended Drexel University where he completed Drexel’s accelerated Doctorate in Physical Therapy program in March 2015 and also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences. While at Drexel, Justin completed a clinical rotation at Strive Physical therapy and also completed rotations at the Naval Academy and AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. He is currently certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and is currently pursuing his Orthopeadic Clinical Specialist Certification following completion of a Orthopeadic Residency at Jefferson University. In his free time, Justin enjoys traveling, playing soccer, golfing, and playing music.
Kelly Speers attended Penn State University for her undergraduate degree in Biobehavioral Health. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University in 2019. After obtaining her DPT, she continued at Drexel University to complete an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency program. Kelly is now working towards gaining her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, running, or sitting on the beach! She also enjoys reading and watching college football! Her favorite part about being a physical therapist is connecting with people on an individual level, helping them recover from injury, illness, or managing persistent pain, and ultimately helping to achieve their personal goals.
Sarah is a graduate of Stony Brook University’s Physical Therapy Doctoral Program class of 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2014, during which she was a 4 year collegiate soccer player. Throughout her schooling and in her professional career, Sarah has grown to love treating all ages and populations especially pediatrics because of the creativity and imagination it requires. She also has a passion for treating sport-related injuries, orthopedic conditions (especially spine) and neurological conditions. Over the past two years, Sarah has advanced her learning and undergone further continuing education in vestibular/concussion rehabilitation. Her future goals include continuing to advance this specialty as well as achieve her orthopedic and pediatric certifications. First and foremost, Sarah is dedicated to administering personal, hands on and unique care for each individual to be as successful as possible in their treatment. Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys traveling, singing, outdoor/sporting activities and hanging with friends/family.
