Meet the Staff
Nick graduated from Stockton University with Bachelor’s of Science Degrees in Biology and Public Health, and continued his education at Drexel University, where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2020. Nick completed his final clinical affiliation with Strive Physical Therapy in Moorestown, where he honed his clinical skills in the outpatient orthopedic setting. He also has clinical experience in home health. Nick’s desire to become a physical therapist was originally fueled by his desire to help people, as well as his background in athletics. He first exposure to physical therapy came in high school, when he tore his plantar fascia running track. Luckily, he had a great experience and was able to return to jumping that season without any issues. Nick plans to continue his professional education by taking continuing education courses, and he hopes to eventually earn his board certification as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. In his free time, Nick enjoys watching, playing, and talking about sports.
Meghan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2013. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology-Psychology at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. Meghan is the Director of Strive’s Vestibular Rehabilitation Program. Her physical therapy practice specializes in vestibular rehabilitation, treating patients with vertigo, imbalance and post-concussion syndrome. She is passionate about treating these diagnoses, and is certified in vestibular rehabilitation through Emory University’s Competency Based Course.
Meghan also enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic, neurologic and musculoskeletal disorders. She is certified in the McKenzie Method for spinal disorders, which enables her to effectively treat low back pain and neck pain. Meghan is also certified in the LSVT BIG treatment for Parkinson’s Disease, which has successfully improved mobility, walking and everyday function for many individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
Meghan lives in Philadelphia and is an avid runner. She is very excited to be working in the community and strives to bring a patient-centered, individualized physical therapy experience to each of her patients!
Mark Kelly has been a licensed Physical Therapist since graduating from Thomas Jefferson University in 1992 with his Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Mark has extensive experience in physical therapy for orthopedic conditions, especially with rehabilitation of total joint replacements and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Mark is certified in McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which is used for treatment of spinal and extremity disorders. In addition he is certified in TRX Suspension Training, which uses bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. Mark has also been trained and certified in the Graston technique and has extensive experience with physical therapy home care services. In the future Mark has an interest in pursuing certification in Active Release technique to supplement treatment for his patients.
Katie graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2012 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. She then attended Arcadia University and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in January 2015. While earning her doctorate her research focus was on spine disorders and various factors affecting outcomes. She completed her Orthopedic Residency from Temple University where she gained advanced training in the management and treatment of all orthopedic disorders. Katie is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Katie has a special interest in running and Ultimate Frisbee. She was captain of the Penn State Club Frisbee team, played on the Philadelphia Club National-level team, and continues to play in Philadelphia leagues. She enjoys working in a team setting working towards a common goal. She uses a patient-centered approach utilizing the best current evidence to achieve the goals the patient needs and wants. In addition to her advanced training in orthopedics, Katie is also certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (McKenzie Method). She continues her pursuit of clinical excellence with every patient she meets. In her free time, Katie enjoys running, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and exploring the city of Philadelphia with her family.
Kimberly received a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Health Studies with a minor in Gerontology in 2008. She later received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2011. Kimberly enjoys working with a diverse outpatient population, and is dedicated to developing individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing functional outcomes. She has prior clinical experience in a variety of settings, including acute rehabilitation, in-patient acute care, and out-patient neurological and orthopedic physical therapy. She has a particular interest in providing specialized rehabilitation for individuals with vestibular, balance, and neurological disorders, as well as post-concussion syndrome, and is passionate about working with the geriatric population.
Kimberly earned her American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Certificate in Competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation from Emory University in 2012, and has been credentialed in concussion management through ImPACT’s Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) program. She has also served as a Clinical Pilates instructor, and has completed the APPI Level 1 Matwork Certification Course. Kimberly recently became LSVT BIG certified for the treatment of individuals with Parkinson’s disease. She is currently pursuing her McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Certification, and plans to further advance her clinical education by taking courses on additional manual therapy techniques and sports rehabilitation.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys running, watching sports, exploring new cities, and spending time with her daughter and husband.
In spring 2018, Colin graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Center City, Philadelphia where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to attending Thomas Jefferson University, Colin received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Salisbury University located on Maryland’s eastern shore.
Colin enjoys orthopedics and working with athletic populations. Colin believes in the use of evidence-based research in his treatments to help his patients achieve their goals. In the future, Colin looks forward to continuing his education and gaining certifications in McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, the Maitland Technique, and the Graston Technique for soft tissue mobilization.He will also continue to study for h is Orthopedic Board Certification.
Besides being a physical therapist, Colin spends time in the local gym working out and taking trips to the dog park. Colin enjoys the outdoors and finding new hiking trails.
Matt grew up locally in Haddon Township, NJ before attending The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania where he received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Matt followed up his undergraduate degree by receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Scranton in 2017.
Matt has enjoyed the variety of patients and diagnoses that outpatient orthopedics allows him to evaluate and treat. Since receiving his DPT, Matt has continued to learn and apply new principles to his treatment skills. Matt received his certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) for movement dysfunction. In the future Matt plans on gaining certifications in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. Matt is also interested in pursuing his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Outside the office, Matt enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Matt also enjoys watching and attending Philadelphia sports, playing pick-up sports, and playing golf.
Gina joined Strive Physical Therapy with 20+ years of experience in the Physical Therapy profession. She graduated Temple University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. While an undergraduate, she was a co-founder of the Future Physical Therapist’s Student organization. Gina continued her education at Temple University receiving her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. Gina is an APTA credentialed Clinical instructor and is certified in ASTYM, an instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization technique used to treat a variety of soft tissue injuries.
Gina has accumulated significant experience in the outpatient clinical setting working with a variety of patients, including those diagnosed with general musculoskeletal dysfunction, post-operative orthopedics, and balance/vestibular dysfunction. She finds every patient unique and seeks to provide education, support and ultimately a fantastic outcome for each individual she works with. In addition to her outpatient experience, Gina has spent many years providing hospital based, acute care physical therapy in the Virtua Health system.
Outside of work, after years of coaching softball and cheer, Gina now enjoys supporting her children’s participation in multiple sports with great enthusiasm! She also loves the beach and boating.
Sarah graduated from Rutgers University – Camden in 2016, obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology. While in college and after graduating, she coached competitive swimming. She was assistant coach of the Old Orchard Swim Club for 5 years and helped the team become division and Cherry Bowl champions. In addition, she coached at various winter clubs, primarily the Mount Laurel YMCA Phoenix. She continued her education in the nation’s capital, earning her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The George Washington University. Sarah utilizes her coaching and clinical experiences to individualize treatment and create a patient centered approach with an emphasis on evidence-based care.
Sarah’s clinical interests include a mixture of neurologic/orthopedic based conditions and treating patients of all ages. Highlights include, but are not limited to, performance and rehabilitation of athletes, especially swimmers. She has plans to complete continuing education in vestibular examination and rehabilitation in addition to obtaining post-graduate specialties/certifications. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching any Philly sports game, and traveling.
