Meet the Staff
Lindsey Welch completed her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She attended Quinnipiac University for undergraduate study, where she participated in Division I collegiate volleyball. Lindsey was the first full-time therapist to be hired at Strive, and has been with the company since 2008.
Lindsey enjoys helping patients with various diagnoses, and has extensive training in treating disorders associated with the spine, sports, and orthopedics. She is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy practitioner and has been trained in and is thoroughly trained in the Maitland Australian Concept.
Lindsey is also the Center Coordinator of Clinical Education. She is responsible for coordinating the assignments and activities of Physical Therapy students during their clinical rotation as well as keeping the entire clinical staff up to date on evidence based research.
Lindsey lives in Mt. Laurel with her husband and three children.
John is the Area Director of Strive Physical Therapy’s Southern Market and the Clinical Director of Strive’s Moorestown Office. John graduated from Widener University in 2001 with a bachelor’s in biology. He then continued his academic career at Widener, being awarded his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2003. A 4-year member of Widener’s varsity lacrosse team, John was awarded Academic All-America District II and was a 2-year assistant men’s lacrosse coach.
John is currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His professional experience includes successful treatment of post-operative and non-operative spinal disorders, post-operative and non-operative orthopedic joint disorders, worker’s compensation, POTS/ Dysautonomia, motor vehicle injuries, and sports medicine diagnosis and treatment. John is also a Certified Mckenzie MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) Practitioner. In addition to his wide array of clinical experience, John has two noted publications, including chapters on thoracic spine dysfunction and post-operative proximal femur fractures.
In 2013, John graduated with an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with an emphasis on healthcare/ health system efficiency. John serves as a guest lecturer for Jefferson University’s Physical Therapy Program on Clinical Metrics, Business Concepts, and Six Sigma.
John serves as the moderator for Strive’s Emerging Leaders Group program which provides Strive’s developing clinicians with a depth understanding of leadership and management principles that are essential to obtaining a competitive advantage in the Physical Therapy marketplace.
John is an active member in Strive’s “Community Engagement Initiative” and serves on the YMCA’s Burlington County Advisory Board. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in the Cinnaminson area of Southern New Jersey.
Debbie graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (USP) with her Master’s of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree. She has extensive experience in a variety of settings and has been with Strive since 2006.
Debbie is currently working as the Assistant Clinical Director of the Moorestown office. She has an interest in treating orthopedic and sport conditions which brings much balance to her approach. She is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, the Graston Technique, and is a Certified LSVT BIG practitioner. Debbie has also been trained in performing Functional Capacity Evaluations, and she is one of few in the area to be certified in Myofascial Decompression using cups and neuromuscular re-education exercises to improve the flexibility of fascia and soft tissue.
Debbie feels that the patient-therapist relationship is critical to building successful outcomes and strives to make every patient reach their goals.
Michelle obtained her BA in psychology from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA in 2006. During her time there she was a member of the volleyball and swim teams. She continued her education at Arcadia and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in 2010. Michelle has since continued her education, receiving her board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, which she uses to help mentor fellow clinicians and Doctorate of Physical Therapy students.
Michelle also holds the responsibility of Center Coordinator of Clinical Education, working with universities throughout the country in helping to develop future clinicians. She has also worked with Drexel and Arcadia Universities as faculty in their DPT programs. Michelle regards the education of students, fellow clinicians, and her patients very highly. In the future she will complete her certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy as well as continuing to complete her education in orthopedic and manual therapy. Michelle resides in Marlton with her husband, who is also a PT, and their young son.
Amanda, “Ace”, played Division 1 softball all four years at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. She completed her undergraduate education and received her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology graduating in 2011. She then returned home to California for graduate school, and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015 at Chapman University in Orange County.
Amanda loves working with patients of all ages and enjoys the challenge of diverse patient cases. She enjoys collaborating with each patient to ensure specialized care in helping them meet their specific functional and personal goals. Amanda is the Director of Community Events at the Moorestown location, a role in which she enjoys increasing patient and community involvement. She is eager to continue to expand her knowledge base in all areas of physical therapy. She recently has achieved passing the certification exam to be an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Amanda was driven to pursue this specialty as she is passionate in her ability to provide her patients with the best clinical care possible.
When Amanda is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and one year old son, Aiden. Together they enjoy going to Wildwood Beach, working on home improvements, going on long walks, and watching lots of Disney movies.
Albert obtained his undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Ursinus College in 2012. While at Ursinus, Albert was a member of the men’s Football and Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. Competing in sports and experiencing injuries of his own is what ignited Albert to pursue a graduate degree in Physical Therapy.
Albert received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Neumann University in 2017 and is currently a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey. He enjoys working with patients of all ages to assist with the return to a healthy and active lifestyle.
In the future, Albert plans on expanding his physical therapy expertise by becoming a Sports Clinical Specialist. In his spare time, Albert enjoys spending time with his family and friends, rooting for the Philadelphia sports teams, and going to concerts. He is excited to be a part of the Strive team and the Moorestown community.
Amanda graduated from Stockton University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in neuroscience. She then attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia where she graduated with her Doctor in Physical Therapy in May 2020 after 3 clinical internships and evidence based research in knee osteoarthritis. She presented her research with her colleagues at the 2020 Combined Sections Meeting in Denver, CO. Her special interests in the PT field include treating an abundance of diagnoses in the orthopedic, neuro, and amputee populations. Amanda is currently working on her LSVT BIG certification for the Parkinson’s population. In the future, Amanda plans on obtaining her McKenzie certification and Certified Strength and Conditioning certification.
In her time away from work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, traveling, and exercising.
Kelsi graduated from West Chester University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia where she graduated with her Doctor in Physical Therapy in May 2020. Her special interests include treating diagnoses in the orthopedic and neuro populations. Kelsi is also LSVT BIG certified for the Parkinson’s populations. In the future, Kelsi plans on obtaining her Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification.
In her time away from work, Kelsi enjoys going to the gym, hiking, camping and just being outside. While living in the city of Philadelphia, Kelsi likes to take adventures around the city, always on the lookout for new food to try!
Lorah Kate Styer, Katie for short, graduated from Alvernia University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to graduate school, Katie attended Temple University where she achieved a B.S in Kinesiology. She completed her final clinical affiliation with Strive Physical Therapy in Moorestown, and currently works at this location.
Katie has experience treating a wide range of patients that range between acute care in the ICU, pediatrics, and orthopedics in the outpatient setting. Throughout her clinical affiliations, she has worked with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including developmental delays, traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, post-op hip and knee replacements, low back pain, and balance dysfunction. She hopes to eventually earn her Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification, while also taking a variety of continuing education courses to gain a broad scope of knowledge. Outside of physical therapy, Katie’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, spending time in the Outer Banks, hiking, and going on long walks through Philly.
Victoria graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Sciences. Throughout her time in
Pittsburgh, Victoria had the opportunity to shadow physical therapists at a variety of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center facilities, most notably UPMC Sports
Medicine where she gained experience in the rehabilitation of college and professional athletes. This experience sparked her interest in orthopedic and
sports rehabilitation. Victoria continued her education at the University of Miami where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. While attending the
University of Miami, Victoria gained clinical experience in the fields of orthopedic rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and developmental
pediatrics. Victoria is currently a licensed Physical Therapy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Victoria plans to continue her professional education with a focus on
manual therapy, as well as working towards a Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. She enjoys working with recreational athletes of all ages to
assist them in returning to the activities they love.
In her time away from work, Victoria enjoys exercising, playing tennis, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants in the Philadelphia area.
