Tom grew up in N.E. Philadelphia and is a 1990 graduate of the Hahnemann (Drexel) University PT program. He has worked in Outpatient PT for 25 of his 30 years as a PT including work in California, Idaho and Arizona. He has specialty areas in chronic pain and modern pain science as well as shoulder and back rehab. He has been active in the APTA for most of his 30 years and previously served as president of the Idaho PT Association. Tom is the current Payment Specialist for the Pennsylvania PT Association. You may have even seen Tom at the DPT Blue Bell clinic where he often provides extra clinical coverage!

Physical TherapistMike is a Physical Therapist having received a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Neumann University in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Temple University in 1990. He has been licensed to practice in Pennsylvania since 1999. Mike has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics providing patients with comprehensive and individualized treatment plans needed to achieve their rehabilitative goals. Mike’s practice style emphasizes a hands-on approach in applying a wide range of manual skills that he has acquired throughout his 20 plus year career. Mike brings a unique perspective to his practice having been a member of the Temple University Men’s gymnastics team. During his successful career as a Division 1 NCAA gymnast, he recovered from numerous injuries including multiple bone fractures and several orthopedic surgeries. Mike also served as the assistant coach for two years after his graduation. Outside of work Mike still enjoys staying fit, being outdoors and spending time with his two teenage sons, as well as performing an occasional handstand.

Pelvic Health SpecialistMelissa Banks received her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2020 from the University of Pittsburgh. Since graduating, Melissa has been treating orthopedic and pelvic floor conditions in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Her continuing education has focused on treating pelvic floor dysfunctions, and she is currently working towards obtaining the Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy through the APTA.
Melissa is experienced in treating men and women for conditions including urinary/fecal incontinence, GI dysfunction, overactive bladder, pelvic pain, pain during pregnancy, and post-partum care. Melissa utilizes manual therapy techniques, patient education, and individualized exercise programs to return patients to the activities they enjoy.
In her spare time Melissa enjoys staying active by playing tennis, soccer, and hiking

Physical TherapistRuss is excited to join the Dresher PT Family! This is his second career, revisiting his passion for healthcare after a decade of serving and educating students at the university level. Russ graduated from Arcadia University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. He served on the board of the Arcadia University Pro Bono clinic, which focuses on serving the under-insured and uninsured population of the Greater Philadelphia region.
Russ loves to golf, play ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and is an avid board game player. He loves to watch his eldest son play hockey, coach youth soccer and baseball, and go on adventures with his family.
Russ’s area of interest include shoulder rehabilitation, serving those with Parkinson’s, and assisting patients in returning to the activities they enjoy.
