Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic PT, Regional DirectorNow residing in Frackville, and a native of Hegins, Michael is proud to return to Schuylkill County to provide his community with outstanding physical therapy services. He graduated from Misericordia University with his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy, and is certified as an APTA Orthopedic Certified Specialist. He has successfully completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Misericordia University and is now accepting Direct Access patients. Most recently he became certified in Dry Needling and Functional Capacity Evaluation testing.
Michael is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association, Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association, and APTA Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections. His areas of interest include Orthopedics, Sports Rehab, Industrial Rehab, Dry Needling and Manual Therapy.

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic PT, Clinical DirectorDerek is a graduate from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with his doctorate in physical therapy. After graduation, he worked in outpatient orthopedics before completing his Orthopedic Residency with Arcadia University. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Associations and is a part of the Pennsylvania and Orthopedic Chapters.
His interests in physical therapy include Orthopedics, Sports, and Industrial Rehab populations, as well as Trigger Point Dry Needling.

Physical Therapist AssistantAshley began working with us as an aide and receptionist in our Shenandoah office. She furthered her education at Penn State Hazleton and graduated with an Associate Degree as a PTA. She also is a massage therapist where she graduated from SIBT. Ashley is a lifelong resident of Shenandoah.

Physical Therapist AssistantJill is a graduate of Penn State University-Hazleton where she obtained her PTA degree. She also received a BFA in Related Arts/Dance from Kutztown University and continues to teach various classes at a local dance studio. Having worked in outpatient settings since graduating from PSU, her main areas of clinical interest include orthopedics and performance/dance rehab.
