I have had surgeries on both my rotator cuffs, my right radial head removed, both of my feet straightened, 2 of my thumb joints removed, fusions in both my ILS joints, and fusions with instrumentation done on my thoracic spine twice. I am stating this because I never completed physical therapy. I am a strong willed person, and I have tried to get out of going to physical therapy. I attended many Therapy locations throughout Berks County. I lasted an average of perhaps 3 visits after surgeries; I simply didn’t go back. I didn’t discuss it with my doctors; I just made up my own mind. Why did I hate Physical Therapy? Because therapists zeroed in on the current problem and ignored other painful joints . This past summer through fall, I was fortunate to have both troublesome knees replaced.I decided to try the new STRIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY location in Leesport. STRIVE and the therapist there, David , who is incredible! He treats me individually, always making sure that he is not hurting me . I have progressed incredibly, David also praises me for doing a good job, which is important for my mental well-being.
Between he and the secretaries there, I enjoy going to therapy. I am very thankful to have found STRIVE PHYSICAL THERAPY in LEESPORT!

I would recommend Strive PT in Leesport to anyone that values being treated by a professional, knowledgeable, kind and respectful therapist. Both David Kutteroff and Nathan Moyer fit that description. Comfortable atmosphere for healing. Oh, and a shout out to Priscilla the receptionist for her kind greetings.

Mountain River is one of the best Physical Therapy sites I have been too. I have been to many PT sites and MR is the best of the best!
I have had 5 left knee and 2 right knee surgeries. My 8th surgery was a total knee replacement at the age of 37, which is tough to handle. MR made me feel comfortable on day one. They answered all my questions and have been straight forward with the plan to reaching my goal of strengthening and bending my knee to 120 degrees. With a lot of hard work from the therapists, I am happy to report at Week 7, I have officially hit the 120 degrees bending goal. This is amazing! Living for over a decade with only being mobile 90 degrees, this is a huge accomplishment. And I owe it all to Mountain River PT! Highly recommend! Amazing people, they treat you like family and they help you succeed in reaching your goals! Thank you MR for all you do!

I all but crawled into Mountain River Physical Therapy, only 5 days after hip Replacement surgery. Within two weeks after surgery , I no longer use a walker I upgraded to a cane. Everyone there shows utmost concern for my full recovery . The staff is fully knowledgeable of every injury. This is not my first time utilizing this professional team. I had shoulder surgery several months ago and today, no one would ever know. Thank you for all you do for my health care needs and bringing me back to a normal life.

David is an excellent physical therapist

Never thought I would ever need physical therapy .. but it so happened I had surgery and required it..… I came across Mountain River .. thought from all the positives reviews I would give them a shot… I found myself in a one on one session with my physical therapist. Dave… (never thought that would happen either) it’s been almost a month now.. I have improved significantly thanks to Dave .. I’m happy I picked the right place .. if you find yourself needing physical therapy.. give Dave a call.. you will be happy you did.

Strive in Leesport is definitely Five Star! From my first phone call with Priscilla, the receptionist, she knew exactly what questions to ask & always greeted me by calling me by my name, adding that personal touch. Lexxie, my main therapist was outstanding! If I was having a "pain" day, she would go easy on me. She was always concerned how I was feeling. She offered advice to help me get a diagnosis for my painful body. I started out being "disabled" and ended with full range of motion for my shoulder. I had the pleasure of working with Kaitlynn & Nate, both excellent. If I need future P.T., Strive is where I will go without hesitation. Thanks to all of you, I have my life "back".
